August 2012 Home Sales Data for Port Gamble, Kingston & Hansville<\/p><\/div>\n

There were 19 homes Sold in the combined areas of Hansville, Kingston and Port Gamble during the month of August 2012, which was 4 fewer than July, but still more than any other month going back more than 2 years!\u00a0 Selling prices however; did continue their wild monthly gyrations and were significantly less than the selling prices in July.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The challenge in reviewing and quantifying\u00a0the home sales data for this combined area is that it is comprised of homes\u00a0in a wide price range, from magnificent waterfront estates, to manufactured homes on acreage to homes in large plats\u00a0and with so few Sold, the average and median selling prices have dramatic changes from month to month.\u00a0 If there are a couple more high end homes or a few more lower end homes in the data for any given month then the numbers have big changes.<\/p>\n

What I can say with clarity, is that there are more homes being sold than in other months and this is reflective of the market in Kitsap County as a whole.<\/p>\n
